My power cord for the computer has been missing ever since I did a deep cleaning two Thursdays ago before we had company. I finally found it today with the help of a list entitled "Where the Power Cord Isn't." I love lists, and this one really worked! And in other news, we've discovered a fun new use for spaghetti - actually, we didn't discover it personally. We read about it, and then tried it for ourselves.
That's not it.
This is! You cut hot dogs up into coin shapes, skewer them with dry spaghetti noddles, then drop them in boiling water. If you push 4 noodles through, it becomes an 8-legged octopus that you can watch swim around the pot.
And they're tasty, too! At least Caleb thinks so, I wasn't tempted myself. Note of warning, the part of the noodles that are inside the hot dogs stay a little crispier than the noodles that poke out the ends.
Now, this might not look that impressive in the pictures, but in real life it is quite amusing!
