Hello, and happy Tuesday to you!

The boys and I baked up some treats last week, and I caught them digging in!

Here they are fresh out of the tub.

I love how they love each other.

A Sower went out to sow...

We learned about the parable of the sower two times this weekend, and so behold, above, the largest plant I have ever grown from a seed!  Ta-daa! 

And here are our happy strawberries!

(Plants in our garden aren't usually happy, so this is significant!  

They have a habit of shedding all their leaves, leaving only the stalks.

What does that mean?)

Happy Memorial Day!

We are AWANA Cubbies!

 Josiah loved his first year of Cubbies.

He did great memorizing his verses and he loved riding with his Grandma each week.

Chris and I enjoyed our weekly date nights!

 Josiah is sniffing the ground, trying to smell his friend 'Natalie' who he loved at a retreat at camp a few weeks ago.  Ha!

Here is his award bear and his Pink Panther balloon he had made at the fair after awards night.

P.S.  We lost Josiah's vest a couple of weeks into the year, but my mom happened to have my old vest tucked away, so here he is in all his uniformed glory.

P.P.S.  Caleb loves this outfit.  He asks to wear it every day, and every day he can't wear his "monkey shirt" begins with a few tears.
P.P.P.S.  Chris doesn't approve of calling the clothes of little boys 'outfits'.  But what else are you supposed to call them?

I think my first, pumpkiny one is my favorite so far.

I printed this one and put it on our Christmas Altoids that year.

The Playhouse

I tried to show you pictures of this last week, but the pictures seem to have disappeared, so here it is again!

This playhouse is in my parents' yard.  The boys' Poppa built it in no time!

 It has a bunk up a little ladder.  It is all ready for a camp-out, if we ever feel so bold. 

 I like the cedar posts.

 There are lots of toys inside from the deep past of mine and my sisters' childhoods.

 Pretty doggone cute, eh?

Going to Great Grandmother's House

 We recently traveled with Chris to his weekend of school, and on the way, we got to stop at my grandparents' house!  We were all so excited!

Here are the boys helping to make breakfast.

 When we were about to sit down to eat, Josiah ran off to find his Aunt Faye, and Caleb hunted and hunted for his Grandaddy.
