Goodbye, Goldie!

The kids are down to one goldfish, from three, and the poor guy has been looking lonely and neglected, so we decided to give him a new home.

Josiah and I took him to this park near our house on Saturday morning and let him go. (We had another destination downtown in mind, but Josiah thought he was getting too jostled in his Tupperware.)

Josiah built a double dam to keep the fish in the first ten feet or so of this little stream.

The crazy thing is, we have been back to visit him three times, and he’s always there!  He likes to hang out under the Little stone bridge the kids are on in this picture.

Now he has plenty of friends - crawdads, minnows, and waterstriders!

Eleonora in the Craft Room

I haven’t written since June, and all the sudden it’s July 11!  I’ll try to catch up on the fun happenings of our 4th of July week soon, but for now, here are some pictures of Eleonora hanging out in the camp craft room this week.

Perler beads with the big kids.

Sorting beads.
