Craft Night Party

Giving thanks for the feast.
Looks delicious.
And festive.
Eleonora had a ball.
Meagan gave everyone jars of cookie mix - I made mine tonight, and they are some of the yummiest cookies of all time.
Stephanie made great light-up 'Let It Snow' canvases.
My mom made travel toothbrush holders - a great invention.
Amanda beaded beautiful bookmarks.
Before each Crafter passed out her gifts, she led us in singing in carol.
Stephanie led us in a bit of ballet from the Nutcracker!
Hannah made fun Nativity ornaments.
Jennifer, with the help of her hubby, made us all wonderful initial hangings.
Ashley made adorable ornaments filled with melted crayon shavings.
Heather made a couple of different sparkly canvas designs.
Here we are in all our glory!
And for posterity's sake:
Grandma & Eleonora 2014
Grandma & Lydia 2012
My cross-stitch ornaments.
And we ended with a bit of Charades.

A lovely time was had by all!

10 Months

I hope you had the merriest of Christmases.
We certainly had a holly-jolly time around here.
Eleonora was 10 months on the 18th.
She has sprouted two adorable sharp teeth and she often has her tongue out to feel them.
She scoots, she crawls, she pulls up, she walks about in her walker.
And is an all-around good time.
 We love you, Eleonora Marie!

Christmas at The Winds

We celebrated Christmas at my parents' last night and this morning.
Their home is lovingly referred to as 'The Winds' if you were unaware.
A fantastic time was had by all.
We feasted on our traditional Christmas breakfast of waffles and omelets.
Eleonora was honored to wear the Christmas bib passed down lo these many years. I learned a bit too late that of all the family babies to wear the bib, Eleo was the first to actually eat in it. Ha.
Sweet siblings.
The boys got some super-fun gifts. I enjoyed helping Caleb build a rocket and Josiah start his roller coaster.
And then to top off it all off, Chris led a most excellent Christmas Eve service at church tonight, and I even snuck a little picture for you.
Merry Christmas to all, and to all a good night!
