Well you know the last day of school was back at the end of May as well. But as I always say, better late than never!
Do you even see what sweet teachers these kids have? So glad Caleb has another year left with us. Shoo!
Cleaning out the fridge so it can spend the summer at the pool.
Relaxing with a little vocabulary building fun.
Bout to take the decorations off the walls.
And that was only a pick-up-your-report-card-half day. So what better way to celebrate the last day of school….than going to weed your friend’s garden!?!?
While the girls go for a farm-style swim.
And in true, if you give a mouse a cookie style, I came home and decided that if this old electric rototiller would ‘fire up’, we would have a garden of our very own. Can you tell by the boys’ body language how they felt about this development? Perhaps this wasn’t their idea of a first day of summer treat.
Amanda to the rescue!
And thanks to Chris’s new idea - whenever I was going to garden/weed in the hot sun this spring, he would erect this little shade tent over me. Now that’s tender.
